In addition, we sell custom-made tools designed for knife building.

JK-knivmaterialer.dk saw the light of day
Thursday 31 March 2016, and was founded by Jan and Karsten.
We met in Viborg Knivklub in the 2012/13 season, where we participated in various exhibitions for the club. We were often asked about where you can buy materials to make a knife from.
For this, we got the idea for JK knife materials. We started by having materials at home, but space problems quickly arose. To meet the need for better organization of our growing warehouse, we moved to a small room. But it didn't stop there. Several wanted to experience our selection in person, and so we opened the doors to our small knife shop on Saturday 3 March 2018.

I make knives myself, which I have done for many years, which means that the materials that I have are carefully selected with the eyes of a knife maker.
I am really looking forward to meeting other knife enthusiasts both in my shop and at various meetings and fairs , and to have a nice chat with you.

On August 31, 2019, Jan made the difficult decision to step down from JK knife materials due to time and personal considerations. As his partner in the company, I, Karsten, fully understood this decision, but it was not without a feeling of sadness, as there had been many pleasant moments over the years.
Despite this change, I chose to continue JK knife materials and was warmly received by our customers and business partners.
